Advances in genetics, proteomics and systems biology require the use of a combination of techniques drawn from Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science to analyze and integrate various forms of high throughput data for understanding underlying mechanisms, deriving new hypotheses and identifying therapeutics. The research in our laboratory is focused on the analysis and integration of various forms of data related to functional genomics and microbiome data, and cancer omics data.
